IHMS is an educational institution that subscribes to the best elements of the Catholic tradition of learning. It holds that Catholic education cannot be isolated from the mission of the Church to proclaim the Good News. Even as it engages in the remote preparation of candidates for the ordained priesthood, it endeavors to form students holistically within the framework of the Gospel so that they will mature as men who, inspired by the example of Mary, love and serve God, and who place their gifts at the service of humanity and creation.
