30 IHMS Seminarians Invested

Thirty IHMS seminarians were invested with sotana at the IHMS main chapel within the Mass at 10:30AM last August 18, 2024. Out of the 30 were 27 first-year (Talidhay Class) seminarians and 3 third-year (Succisa Virescit Class) seminarians. Most Rev. Patrick Daniel “Dan” Parcon, D.D., Bishop of Talibon presided over the investiture mass, which was concelebrated by IHMS administrators Rev. Fr. Absalon Florenosos, Rev. Fr. Rommel Anico, Rev. Fr. Rey Carlo Sajulan, Rev. Fr. Bernadine Jade Dionne Balite along with visiting priests Rev. Fr. Melvin Tajale, Rev. Fr. Brian de la Concepcion, and Rev. Fr. Julius Lupot. A new addition to the investiture rite was the unveiling of the first-year class banner at the choir loft. After the investiture rites, the class president of the Talidhay Class, Sem. Richard Banga, delivered a short thanksgiving speech. After the mass, the newly-invested seminarians presented a theatrical play at the IHMS auditorium. Receptions were held at various rooms and facilities in the seminary where their respective families, friends, and their fellow seminarians enjoyed lunch.
